I wasn’t sure what I was going to do this year, but I wanted to get my flocked tree back out. It looks brighter in this window than my green one. After that I just kept adding on! How about two more smaller trees? Might as well put the reindeer that go outside in here as well. It feels like a little whimsical forest in this nook! Watch the video here.
I turned these two table upside down for my bases!
Most of my things are 5 to 10 years old! In fact I didn’t buy anything new this year. Unfortunately that means I don’t have links, but it’s good to know your decor can last many years to come.
I’ve been searching for a round rug for this space, but we just got a puppy! Potty training is no joke, so no rugs around here for a few months. I even took the one out of the living room.
I found these stockings at Five Below four or five years ago and I like how they kind of blend in. Should I add some ribbon to them?
This twinkle light curtain backdrop stays up all year. It’s a happy little detail on a rainy day or in the evenings.
I gave this antique cabinet a makeover (which took forever), and now it is the sweetest little spot for a Christmas village world. I have lots of dollar spot white houses so I thought it would be fun for Clara and I to paint a few. We were joking that hand painted isn’t always a good thing. Some of our lines are a little sloppy, haha!
I wanted this guy in a basket so bad I cut a hole in the bottom of this one and stuck it through.
A little garland and houses with candles go in the living room. A little sparkle in each corner.
And here’s our little puppy girl! Her name is Magnolia and she’s a wild, sweet baby. You can watch all about our crazy first week in this video.
It’s fun to set games out on the table when we have holiday home time. Last night we had an impromptu tournament! I think I’m the worst out of everyone.
The nativity isn’t up. Or the kids’ tree. Or the outdoor lights. But this was good progress! You can watch the video here:
