Luca has been begging for a reptile pet since he could talk, so this kid is ecstatic to have his first pet. When we saw the leopard gecko my sister-in-law was watching, we noticed how docile and easy to handle he was. He obsessed and obsessed. I couldn’t guess the number of videos and tutorials we watched.
It’s a big commitment — they can live up to 20 years! But I think Luca is up to the task. He’ll have to be because handling crickets and mealworms are not my thing.
We researched and shopped and researched and shopped until we found the setup that was perfect for us. Here’s the video with our terrarium and the exciting day we brought the baby home!
