I’ve got some simple, fun Valentine’s decorations up this year. I’ve got all the sources at the bottom, but rest assured it’s all very inexpensive! I even painted the hearts in the frames on old paper blinds we were throwing out!
As with all seasonal decor, I start with the basics — white tablecloth and napkins, silverware, white candles, clear glasses, all neutral pieces — and then I add in my color. In this case it’s pink, of course.
Also, don’t miss my DIY dip dyed dollar store vases with faux stems in the center.

And here’s what’s going on in our entryway:

Sources
Dip dyed dollar store vases: DIY
Heart art: watercolored hearts on old paper blinds!
Gold frames: estate sale
Heart garland: Target dollar spot (I painted the red and hot pink hearts)
Faux flowers and garland: Hobby Lobby
Candles and holders: Dollar Tree
Hello Kate, take away the word “cheap” and replace it with “gorgeous or splendid” that is the effect the table decor sends out! There is just something missing, perhaps you can place candles at the one end of the table, how about a mix of pink and white or different shades of pink? I so love the wooden hearts, they are just gorgeous as well as the picture frames, the one piece compliments the other. I am just thinking how about some mirror tiles on the table and the candles displayed on top for a super reflection? You can always use them again later, however, the table setting is still lovely, a gentle soft yet warm invitation, just what love is all about. Don’t forget the rose sparkling wine, just for Valentine! God bless I will be thinking of you on the 14th …… Much love :)
