I guess I was feeling patriotic when I was packing for our summer trip up north to visit my family. Sticking with a red, white, and blue color palette made it easy to mix and match everything.
I planned my suitcase carefully to avoid wearing those random clothes left in my dresser at my parents’ house from decades past. But don’t you know I still spent every morning in giant purple fleece sweatpants and random over-sized T-shirts of my Dad’s. Does anyone else have this problem when visiting home?
Skipping the PJs, here was my daywear:
Red top: Forever 21 | Embroidered top: Forever 21 | Striped tank: Ann Taylor
White capris: Evereve | Denim capris: Forever 21 or similar
Oxford shirt: Target | Navy and white dress: Ross Dress for Less, similar
Jean jacket: Old Navy | Pearl earrings: Charming Charlies | Bracelet: Charming Charlies
Sandals: Target | Belt: Amazon | Handbag: Kenneth Cole (affiliate links)
My apologies on the availability of some of the items. I was a good girl and used what I already had in my closet to pack!
